SANTA CLARITA, CA (January 14, 2004) - Princess Cruises has teamed up with Air Tahiti Nui to offer passengers sailing in French Polynesia a more flexible flight schedule as well as the premiere air carrier's unique Polynesian-style service and amenities. As of May 5, 2004, all Pacific Princess passengers who purchase air through Princess' FlightChoiceSM program as part of their cruise package will experience Air Tahiti Nui's legendary brand of service on board the airline's new A340-300 aircraft. Whether opting for coach, business or first class seats, all passengers enjoy such amenities as in-seat video displays, video games and restaurant-quality meals. As an added benefit, the agreement will allow Princess passengers with connecting flights to take advantage of interline luggage transfers, making it more convenient to check luggage through to a final destination. Service for Tahitian Princess passengers begins May 17. "We are really excited about this partnership, as it gives our passengers more choice and more flexibility in planning their perfect Tahitian vacation" said Dean Brown, vice president of customer service and sales. "We believe that Air Tahiti Nui's philosophy of extending the warmth and ambience of their Polynesian home on every flight will be a terrific complement to a Princess cruise, enabling our passengers to enjoy the kind of service-oriented travel experience they have grown to expect from Princess from the moment they check in at the airport to begin their journey." The 670-passenger Tahitian Princess offers a selection of round-trip, ten-day sailings in French Polynesia, and is based in Papeete, Tahiti year-round. Itineraries include Polynesia, the Marquesas, and the Cook Islands. Sister vessel Pacific Princess sails seasonally in the South Pacific, and itineraries feature a variety of South Pacific Islands, including Hawaii and Western Samoa. Both ships offer signature features such as affordable balconies and Personal Choice Dining®. One of the best-known names in North American cruising, Princess Cruises is a global cruise and tour company. Part of Carnival Corporation and plc
