Terms & Conditions
APPLICATIONS:
› Tiare Tahiti Stopover (2012) packages are only available to individual clients traveling on Air Tahiti Nui published roundtrip airfares with travel originating from North America to New Zealand or Australia.
› Bookings must be made online, in conjunction with ticketed Air Reservations, and no later than 7 days prior to departure from North America.
› The Stopover packages in this brochure are available only in conjunction with the purchase of a qualifying, roundtrip Air Tahiti Nui airfare issued on Air Tahiti Nui ticket stock in North America. Credit card payments are accepted.
› The packages are available for a maximum of 3 consecutive nights in total. Which may be used in either direction.
› The packages are not available to:
a - Unaccompanied minors or children below 16 years of age and traveling alone.
b - Passengers holding free Frequent Flyer Award/compensation tickets, Travel Industry Reduced Rate tickets or group tickets.
VALIDITY OF PRICES:
› Valid from 01 December, 2011 to 31 December, 2012 inclusive, and are subject to change without notice. Please refer to individual hotel validity.
› All prices are per person US dollars (USD).
› Based on tariffs submitted by hotels and other contractors and on exchange rates current at the time of printing (01 December 2011).
› Inclusive of local TVA taxes (11%) and subject to any increases thereof.
› Exclusive of local city tourism taxes – XPF150 per person (approximately USD1.61) per night.
› Rates are subject to availability at the time of booking. Availability is not guaranteed.
VOUCHERS & PAYMENT:
› Full payment for the qualifying air ticket must be done prior to booking of the Tiare Tahiti Stopover Hotel. Full payment for both the air ticket and the Stopover Hotel should be made at least 7 days prior to departure, and possibly earlier based on the rules of the airfare being purchased. Some special airfares must be booked and paid for at least 21 days prior to departure. For any booking made within 7 days of departure, full payment must be made for the Stopover Hotel within 3 business days and a USD100 late booking fee will be charged.
› Once the Stopover Package is fully paid, you will be sent a Miscellaneous Charges Order (MCO) Voucher for your confirmed hotel reservation. This MCO Voucher serves as confirmation and the exchange document of the hotel stay that you have purchased,
and must be presented to the hotel at time of check-in.
› Failure to present the MCO/MSR at check-in would mean that you will be charged at full hotel (rack) rates.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION:
› Hotels reserve the right to charge for periods when the room is occupied before the normal check-in time and after the normal checkout time. It is therefore strongly recommended that you assess the check-in and checkout times against your arrival/departure times to ensure that the accommodation dates booked matches your requirements.
VISAS:
› It is responsibility of the customer to ensure that they hold valid passports and visas, valid for both French Polynesia (Tahiti) and other destinations along the entire journey.
AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATION:
› Bookings may be changed at anytime up until 7 days prior to departure ex US. The first change is USD50 per room. Subsequent changes, or changes made between 7 days and 72 hours prior to departure ex US will incur a change fee of USD100 per room.
› Changes are not permitted within the period 72 hours prior to departure ex US, and will fully forfeit the Tiare Tahiti Stopover price paid.
› All amendments and alterations are subject to hotel availability.
CANCELLATIONS:
› All cancellations will fully forfeit the Tiare Tahiti Stopover price paid & will also be subject to the terms and conditions of the airfare purchased.
› Cancellation of the associated reservations on Air Tahiti Nui flights will result in the cancellation of the stopover reservations and forfeiture of the stopover costs paid.
REFUNDS:
› In the event of cancellation, the Tiare Tahiti Hotel Stopover package price is non refundable. No refund will be made if all or part of the program purchased has not been utilized.
OTHER CONDITIONS:
› ATN reserves the right to cancel or change any service and is unable to accept any responsibility for loss, damage or expense due to delays or changes in schedules, hotels overbooking or defaults, sickness, strikes, war, quarantine, or other causes. Customers accept full responsibility for such loss, damage or expense.
› As a carrier, Air Tahiti Nui is subject to international conventions limiting its liability. The limitations of liability are contained on your ticket and form part of the terms and conditions thereof.
